Warranty

Scope:
This warranty is given only to those parts manufactured and supplied directly from Oberon Performance Limited, and sold by their authorised partners. To be free from design, manufacturing and fitment defects of all parts. The standard period is 24 months from proof of purchase date, on a return to base basis.


Terms of warranty:
1. The customer must produce a proof of purchase.
2. Oberon Performance Limited, undertakes either to repair or replace (whichever it deems necessary) only such parts (not necessarily the entire assembly) if it is revealed upon their inspection, that it failed due to manufacturing defect. This will also apply where purchased through an approved reseller appointed by Oberon Performance Limited.
3. Replacement of the part/parts is not warranted.
4. Product(s) that are older than 24-months from date of purchase are eligible for extended support by request only. Oberon Performance Limited reserves the right to reject any such request if insufficient information has been disclosed during the request. Or if it has been deemed by Oberon Performance Limited that the product cannot be repaired or restored.
5. Oberon Performance Limited current (2024) repair charge(s) will be capped at £35 (GBP); this is inclusive of parts and labour. It is not inclusive of return postage costs which are applicable to warranty claims either rejected or servicing requested.


The warranty becomes void in the following cases:
1. Disassembly has taken place by any person other than a qualified member of Oberon Performance Limited.
2. Any 3rd party opinion, assessment or work to modify the product(s) has taken place, in any way.
3. Non-Standard parts have been used with the part/product, unless recommended by the Motorcycle manufacturer or approved by Oberon Performance Limited.
4. Proof of purchase cannot be provided.
 

The warranty is Not applicable where:
1. Parts are subjected to normal wear and tear, or normal ageing.
2. External damage, caused by whatsoever event.
3. Part surface finish is damaged.
4. Parts that have not been serviced in accordance to the motorcycle manufacturers handbook or Oberon Performance Limited guidelines for usage.
5. No contact with Oberon Performance Limited has previously been made, and a returns form completed and returned to us prior to obtaining a recorded returns number.
6. Third party investigations, testing and any physical work carried out on the part(s), that have been started or completed without prior knowledge to Oberon Performance Limited as a whole.
7. The claim shall NOT exceed the original purchase price of the part/product as published by Oberon Performance Limited at the date of purchase.
 

NB
Oberon Performance Ltd will not be liable for any import duty. Customs declarations must be submitted correctly, and as advised during the initial contact. Nor will Oberon Performance Limited reimburse postage costs for any reason, unless fully agreed, prior in written communication by an authorised member of Oberon Performance Limited.
